CAMINO OLVIDADO DE LA MONTA\u00d1A FASGAR-IGUE\u00d1A<\/span><\/h1>\n

This stage of the Camino Olvidado corresponds to stage 17 and starts in Fasgar. From here we climb up to the water tank and the telephone antenna. We will continue along a wide track where we will find the crystalline waters of Las Fuentes and we will reach Campo de Santiago, after reaching the pass and descending along the same track until we reach the hermitage, which celebrates its festival every 25th July. Here we take a path on the left.<\/p>\n

Further on we start to descend through the gorge towards Colinas de Campo, passing a stone monolith that marks the separation of the valleys, leaving Murias de Paredes behind us and entering the Alto Bierzo. We continue descending until we cross two bridges.<\/p>\n

From here the path begins to widen. We will pass the Fuente San Juliano and further on we will reach the village of Colinas del Campo de Mart\u00edn Moro Toledano. On the way we will find what used to be an old pilgrims’ hospital and magnificent holly and yew woods.<\/p>\n

We pass through the curious arch of the hermitage of Santa Dorotea and continue along the road for a while, turning a little further on to the right to continue along a track on the left bank of the river and then, after passing a bridge, on the right bank.<\/p>\n

We will come across another spring and come out onto the road until we reach Igue\u00f1a.
\nIf we want to return to the starting point, we must bear in mind that it is a long route, but we must simply retrace our steps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
