POZO LLAO FROM MONTRONDO

We start from Montrondo, from the fountain at the end of the village, and follow the path up the valley. We cross the bridge over the river Omaña and follow the signposted route called «Las Fuentes del Omaña». After a distance of about 4 kilometres from the start of the route we reach the Cuadro fountain.

A little further on, at about 550 metres, we find a path that turns off to the left and we begin to ascend as if we were climbing the Tambarón, but after zigzagging for almost two kilometres through the thicket of urce trees, we will find the Pozo Llao.

To return to Montrondo we return along the same path.
